The core workflow
Technology provides the infrastructure. Assigned professionals provide the understanding. The property provides the historical record.
- 1
Report a problem
The tenant adds a photo or video, description, severity and access availability. The property is already known — no retyping addresses or landlord details.
- 2
Nestra triages
The network identifies the category, checks the property's maintenance history and alerts the responsible agent.
- 3
Providers are notified
Eligible providers in the service area see the job type, area and time window — not unnecessary landlord or tenant information.
- 4
Competitive quotes
Quotes are compared on price, availability and performance: service score, on-time rate and completed Nestra jobs.
- 5
Awarded & locked
Once accepted, the job is locked to that provider and leaves bidding. Confirmed work is never taken away because someone undercuts later.
- 6
Scheduled & tracked
Nestra matches tenant, agent and provider availability, sends reminders and records check-in on arrival.
- 7
Variations need approval
If extra work is found, the provider stops, uploads evidence, and the agent or landlord approves or declines.
Every request gets a priority
Fastest eligible response. No bidding for a burst pipe.
Short quotation window.
Normal competitive quote window.
Longer quotation period.
Fair "better offer" quoting
During the quote window, providers are told only: "Your quote is currently not the most competitive offer." Exact competitor prices stay hidden to prevent artificial R1 undercutting.
Private by default
Tenants and providers talk through Nestra messaging, not personal WhatsApp numbers. Providers receive the property location only at the appropriate stage.
